The purpose of this ordinance is to effectuate the legislative intent ofthe Marijuana Establishments Ordinance approved by the Township electors at the special election held on November 2, 2021, pursuant to Section 6 of the Michigan Regulation and Taxation of Marihuana Act, MCL 333.27951 et seq.; to provide for the licensing and regulation of marijuana establishments within the Township pursuant to the Marijuana Establishments Ordinance; to provide for penalties for violations; to provide for severability and captions; to repeal all other ordinances in conflict therewith; and to provide for an effective date.
